We want to do the same for you. Our experiences have helped us learn a few things concerning what it takes to help students succeed. First, no other specialist or company cares so much about their student’s growth. No one even goes the extra distance to ensure satisfaction and success as Sentry Tutors will for you. We work with you closely from the initial consultation to placement with one of our tutors or professionals. As a result, everything we do is evident in our personal touch.
Our History:
Our founder is no stranger to the world of academic tutoring with over 20 years of experience. The inspiration came from his teachers in school, who assisted him with extra help when needed. After Christopher finished school, his life led him to give today’s students individualized attention through tutoring.
He saw the need for professional tutors increase as time passed. Today, it is not only adults that lead fast-paced lives but also students of all ages. In the past decades, there have been rapid changes made in the world of academia. Schools have now implemented new forms of technology within multiple areas of students’ educational studies. For example, students now use online textbooks and complete their homework through other online programs. These changes in how one learns can hinder a student that is already struggling to keep up.
Although students are faced with new challenges every day, tutoring presents them with the comfort of working with trained experts. Furthermore, our highly trained tutors utilize effective tutoring techniques and resources. Hence, a student acquires the proper study skills needed to succeed in the fast-paced education while strengthening core lessons taught in classes. Besides, the goal of Sentry Tutors is to provide tutoring and educational services that will help students earn better grades, increase their confidence, and achieve personal goals.
Message From Our Founder:
I often look back on my education in school and remember the teachers and tutors who helped me in my years. Later, I heard others talk about their educational challenges in school and the high cost of hiring tutors, and I wanted to do something to help. Therefore, I began tutoring students in 1999 and have enjoyed seeing its influence on the students.
Although in the beginning, my thought was to only work as a tutor as a side job. I soon saw tutoring become my full-time career because of my passion for helping others. After all, “The greatest reward for a tutor is to see students improve their academic performance and the outstanding achievements made.”
Consequently, I continued to tutor and founded Sentry Tutors early in 2019, with over two decades of experience. Today, the company and I continue providing support by delivering the best tutoring to students as they work to fulfill their dreams.
