Refund Policy at Sentry Tutors LLC

We all understand that things happen to interfere with services. Therefore Sentry Tutors does have and offer refunds based on the policy. Clients can sign up for several different services, so please read the policy to understand how it works.

Our private tutoring policy is valid for 14 calendar days from the date of the purchase. If you are unsatisfied with the service, a request must be submitted to Sentry Tutors by the refund request form. Prorated refunds are issued for the unused portion of the services, but hours used will be charged at the rate applicable. Unfortunately, if the period of 14 days has lapsed since the purchase, we can’t offer you a refund.

Refund requirements

Refunds for private tutoring must meet the following criteria

  • Requests must be submitted via the contact form on the website within 14 days of the purchase date and qualify for refund.
  • Have unused tutoring hours in the account, any time used will be prorated at the billable rate they qualify, if approved funds left will be refunded.
  • All canceled appointments within 6 hours of the scheduled start time are subject to be charged for the duration and not refundable

Additional Services

Please note that any additional services, custom work, or other support are non-refundable as our staff’s time cannot be recovered.

Refunds for Discounted services and packages

Sentry Tutors offers several tutoring packages with specified discounts. Clients who purchase a package at a discounted rate will not be honored. Instead, any time used will be deducted from such purchases at their qualifying tutoring rate; the remaining funds will be refunded.

Refunds for Classes and Group Tutoring

The Classes and Group tutoring offered by Sentry Tutors LLC have limited space. Therefore, specific criteria must be met for refunds of these services:

  • Requests for refunds more than 7 calendar days before service begins will receive a full refund.
  • A refund request received 7 or fewer calendar days receives a 50% refund of the purchase.
  • Any refund request made after classes or group tutoring begins will get no refund.

Delivery of Approved Refunds

Due to the company standard of safety and personal information of clients. At no time will Sentry Tutors LLC ever have a client’s bank or credit card information on file. Furthermore, no credit card information will be asked for or taken by a representative of Sentry Tutors for any reason. Therefore, all approved refunds will be processed and paid by check from Sentry Tutors LLC and mailed via USPS. If approved, clients will receive their refunds within 7 – 10 business days.
